Ireland pilot site’s Citizen Science Air Quality research project

University College Cork (UCC) is running an exciting Citizen Science study to measure air quality in around the university site. The project is recruiting students and staff to help collect data on their cycling journeys to and from the campus in Cork, Ireland. The air sample collection will be during the Spring Semester and the method is to use SODAQ Air sensors attached to the bike’s handlebars.

The results will help to inform future green campus projects and go to create a healthier Cork City.

This initiative is a collaboration between the UCC Office of Sustainability and Climate Action and Cork Smart Gateway, funded in part by @eco2schools.
